Gedo

is a region (''gobolka'') in southern Somalia. Its capital is Garbahaarrey. It is bordered by Ethiopia, Kenya and the Somalian regions of Bakool, Bay and Jubbada_Dhexe. Gedo is the second largest region of Somalia (with Bari being the largest). Bardera is an important town of this region.
